ELECTRO RECORDS 007 - LAST COPIES!
TRANSPAC - MONDOVISON - ALBUM
from Alek Stark/Electro Records:
Some months ago I received a folder via wetransfer with a note: Please Read It
_______
I appeal to you because in recent years you have given a lot of energy to keep the electro community alive, the projects you released on Fundamental Records and Electro Records are a good example. For me, these are labels that have become essential today, synonymous with quality and originality. That’s why I would like to present my new project to you: Transpac.
Transpac is the name of one of the first computer networks. It enabled data exchange based on the X25 standard, the Minitel was one of the most famous applications of this network. This project pays tribute to the development of telecommunications in the 70's and the creation of this network.
I know you will do the best in case you finally decide to release it, I only ask you one thing, use Transpac as my name for the project.
______
Besides this album, the folder also contains another work that for now I have to keep it a secret at the author's wish, but the tracks included in this folder are essential to understand more this project…
I left this project in my laptop for many weeks, at that time we were working very hard to open the Electro Records store, also with the first release of Cygnus Hologram Killa and the first Electro Transmissions but every day Transpac was in my mind and from time to time I found myself listening the tracks again and again in my studio, so I finally decided to release the project.
This project is obviously a tribute to the classic work of Gerald Donald/Arpanet, Wireless Internet, and Transpac do not hide his love for the work of Gerald Donald in anyway. Wireless Internet is also one of my favorites electro music albums ever and I was always waiting that Gerald produced another album with this particular style, with no luck. I don’t know how many times I listened Mondovision but I completely had the feeling I was listening a new album produced by Arpanet.
Everything here is pure synthesis, no samples, the truth is this work deserves to be released because the quality of the tracks is fantastic, and I know very well that people will love this album track by track as much I as do, is not easy to reach this quality, and for me would be really sad to leave the work of Transpac buried in some HD just because it is Arpanet style in full effect.
Enjoy the record, this is a paradox, we manufacture only a few copies of this beautiful work in silver colored vinyl record!! Very soon we will have more new from Transpac.
NO FUCKIN RE-PRESS!!
